Alessandro Antichi (Grosseto, May 14, 1958) obtained his Laurea Magistrale in Civil Law, with honors (110/110 cum laude), from University of Siena in March 30, 1982.
He received his 2nd level Master degree in Science of law and political governance at the University of Pisa May 3, 2007.
He qualified to practice law in the Court of Appeal of Florence and is admitted to the Bar at the Court of Grosseto from May 8, 1985 with the best rating among all candidates of the examination session. He was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Cassation from October 4, 1997.
He served as honorary judge at Court of Grosseto and Pitigliano (acting as regent) from 1986 to 1989. From January 1 1994 to 31 January 2014 He was a founder partner “Antichi Bastianini Leporatti & Associates – Law Firm”, with Paolo Bastianini and Bruno Leporatti.
From 1999 to 2004 he was responsible of the Local Public Services Office in National Association of Italian Municipalities - ANCI (www.anci.it
) and board member of the Center FORMEZ services, assistance, studies and training for the modernization of PA (www.formez.it
) between 2001-2005.
From 1997 to 2001 and from 2001 to 2005 he was Mayor of Grosseto for two consecutive terms.
Member of the Regional Council of Tuscany in the legislature VIII, during which he was secretary of the First Committee - Institutional Affairs, a member of the Special Committee to the statutory requirements and the new Rules of Procedure of the Regional Council (of which he also assumed the Presidency), member of the Special Committee for the electoral legislation. Member of the Regional Council of Tuscany in the legislature IX during which he was vice-president of the First Committee - Institutional affairs, planning and budget and President of the Commission of Inquiry on local public services of economic importance.
